Urban Mathis is CTO of Parsenn-Produkte AG and will be celebrating his 40th anniversary with the company in November 2025.

His knowledge of pain therapy and therapeutic incontinence treatment is immense. This enables him to meet doctors at eye level and advise them in a needs-oriented manner. In his free time, Urban enjoys cycling, skiing and spending a lot of time at his Maiensäss in the Fideriser Heubergen.

We conducted a short interview with him:

What exactly do you do at PPAG?
«I am the CTO - the technical director. That means I'm responsible for everything to do with technology. I also manage the medical equipment department and take care of purchasing, service, sales and training.

What do you think other employees say about you?
«Boohh... laughs... I suppose they say I'm „smart, serious and competent“. But who knows for sure?»

Why do you like working for us?
«The independence is a big plus for me. As a manager, I have the freedom to work independently in my specialist area and make decisions. In our family business, the decision-making paths are short and I can work ahead. That's very important to me!»

My favorite PPAG product?
«Clearly: pain therapy and incontinence rehabilitation. All the products that we sell as a general importer are of high quality and offer real added value! Who can claim to relieve pain and shorten rehabilitation times? I am proud to play my part in this!»
